After leaving the Observatory Lodge, we stopped at a butterfly conservatory. We did not walk through, but we did get some pictures of the howler monkeys who were right outside the window.

We pulled into the end of someone’s driveway to get more pictures of the volcano. These were taken through a living fence.
Back at our resort we spent a couple of hours lounging around the hot springs and the pool before going into La Fortuna for dinner.
