Villas Marina Cove

A wakeup call got us started at 4 am, and five minutes later there was coffee and muffins delivered to our room. A shuttle picked us up at five and delivered us to the airport in Guadalajara. By elevenish we were landed safely in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Our flight out of San Jose wasn't scheduled until 3:30 pm, so we expected to grab lunch and have a break. When we checked in, we were told that there was a flight leaving in half an hour, so we jumped at the chance.

The flight to Tamarindo was on a 12 seater Cesna.

We quite enjoyed the flight and the view.
By 1:30pm we were in Tamarindo. The taxi ride to our new residence took less than half an hour and cost $50.00. Oops.

Villas Marina Cove looks like we can survive here. It is all very modern looking, but perhaps somewhat sterile.
The kitchen is quite dramatic.
This is the master bathroom (Ours).
Out back
Time to cool down.

Perhaps the least satisfying discovery is that the beach is a fifteen minute walk away. We will be renting a car to get around. Meanwhile, Wolfgang, the owner, has given us a driving tour of the area with a visit to the grocery store. We're set for now.
