Open Hall (Iceberg)

When we arrived in Trinity, one of the first things we discovered was the proximity of an iceberg (45 minute drive). It was trapped in a small bay and had been there for a week already.

So when we left, we made a beeline to Open Hall. It was perhaps an hour out of our way, but definitely worth the delay. As we came around the corner into this small community the iceberg showed itself immediately.

It seemed small but it was our FIRST. I though I saw someone in a kayak paddling nearby.

Then we realized that the Kayak was in fact a Zodiak.

When you consider that 80% of the bulk of an iceberg is underwater, suddenly this small iceberg seemed much larger.

Deb and Lily needed to pose.

The church was a little bit shabby. The cabin on was water was quite dilapidated.

We passed this little house just before we left town.
