Birds and Salt Mines
This time around, we did not take a birdwatching trip, but we still managed to spot many wading birds near Telchac
Flamingoes were only in small groups, not in masses.
Egrets were quite common in the lagoons.
This is a salt mine. They simply flood the pond and allow for evapoation.
Wading or swimming in extremely salty water is supposed to be good for your skin.
