Deb is laying around getting better, so I am off for a walk with my camera. This is an amazing beach, and apparently its only really crowded on the weekend.
This little restaurant and bar is right across the road. |
This is a continuation of our lagoon, with open water off in the distance. |
For a minimal fee, you can rent a palapa at the water's edge. |
The sand goes on forever. |
Can you tell the difference? Now there is open water to our right. |
I honestly couldn't get this shot without the girl in the foreground. |
There are loungers and platforms where you can stop for a beer. |
Some little boats park along the shore. |
The groins are there to hold the sand in place. You can just walk around them. |
Great places to relax. (Nothing is free, but also nothing is expensive) |
Same bar as in the first shot |
A house of stone built on stone at the end of the lagoon. |
In the lagoon right in front of us, you can walk to the verge of the crashing waves. Tropical fish swim in schools around your legs. |
Hope Deb is feeling better.
