After breakfast (noonish), we headed down the road to Punta Sur (South Point). On the way down we stopped to check out a few restaurants. One, Garrafalon de Castilla, looks like a future possibility.

On the Western side of the point, the coast is much rockier. |
Looking out at the extreme southern tip, past the sculpture garden. |
We stopped at a restaurant near the lighthouse. The food was not memorable. Deb ordered lobster and didn't even eat it. |
The sculptures were made of steel and the walk around the pathways was very pleasant. |
This is the precise spot where the sunrise can first be seen in Mexico. We missed it. |
Is this the energizer bunny, or is it an Aztec Warrior playing a drum? |
Because Deb had not yet had any lunch, on the way back we stopped at a reggae bar called "The Joint". They had live music (Rock, not reggae) and good tacos.
