South Africa has been very kind to us and shared many of her intimate secrets. We are honoured. it is more than we could have dreamed of. From seeing lions copulate no more than 15 feet away from us to watching a mother rhino protect her baby. From sharing a baby giraffe, no more than a week old nursing to having an elephant freely come within a foot of me. From seeing a lion kill and crave his dinner, then watching him sleep deeply and satisfied with his meal being kept safely beside him. South Africa shared freely with us. Never did we expect such memories to take away with us as treasures of our life. I will sadly miss her but truly look forward to our next experiences.
