It's Hallowe'en Day and the plan was to take a scenic tour of the wine district. Good plan, but the almost continuous rain altered that somewhat. We went straight to the winery (Dieu Donne) and got inside where it was dry. The wine was good, the tour was okay, then the scenic drive took place from the bus.
Next we went to prison again. This was the prison from which Nelson Mandela was released after a total of 27 years of captivity. When his release was announced, supporters gathered at this place to witness a historic moment. Our guide (Dumi) was one of those people. Nelson walked down the long road to the exit to be met by thousands of admirers.
