Halifax

We went into Halifax for dinner on the first night and we just prowled. The next morning we went back to explore more. We first took a Hop On Hop Off bus to familiarize ourselves with the whole city. Then we got off at the harbour to walk.

This playground deserved a picture.

Outside the Maritime Museum

The Lieutenant Governor's House

The Oldest Cemetery in Canada

Hurricane Dorian knocked down this crane.

Near the Immigration Museum

Adirondack Chairs on the Harbour

An Island in the Harbour

Hammocks on the Boardwalk

If you have to tie up your boat ...

The Bluenose II is visiting.

The Oldest Catholic Church in Canada

The Halifax Central Library is a new building and it is quite beautiful.

Inside on the ground floor.

On the fifth floor is a reading room looking out over the city.

The roof is covered with plants.

Outside on the fifth floor

Deb checking out the stacks

The elevator impressed Deb more than anything else. This is a touch screen.
