Annapolis Royal

Annapolis Royal is a beautiful little village on the Bay of Fundy. After exploring Fort Anne we wandered through the town itself. Plaques identify many historic buildings.
Many of the homes are just big and beautiful.

Some are a little quirky.

Many have been converted into tourist rentals.

I found a sculpture in the park and decided that the artist must be Brad Hall.

Pretty Little Lighthouse

Maybe I should have kept the float that I found at Ocen's Ledge.

This is the oldest wooden home in Canada.

The guide on the cemetery walk told us that one of the floorboards was two inches thick, three feet wide and sixteen feet long. It ran the length of one room, and four feet into the next room.
