Yesterday on the bus, one of the most strikingly beautiful areas we passed through was the neighbourhood of Coyoacan. We loved what we saw so we decided to come back today. Everything did not go perfectly. As we discovered, the subway stop was a long way from Hildago Plaza in the centre. A taxi and a lot of walking was required. A rest was needed, so we stopped to have lunch at a restaurant on the edge of the plaza.
I tried something called an enmolada. It was a chicken enchilada, covered with three different sauces: chocolate mole, salsa verde, and pipian sauce. It made a beautiful tricoloured presentation.
Coyoacan was a separate community until it was recently absorbed by Mexico City.

After our day of roaming, we rested for a while and then went to a Mexican Seafood restaurant in Condesa. Condesa is the artsy neighbourhood where we are staying.
